Corrosion resistance of common valve materials -- flexible graphite

Flexible graphite is a kind of loose and porous wormlike material obtained by intercalation, washing, drying and high temperature expansion of natural graphite flakes. Natural graphite has excellent properties such as heat and cold resistance, corrosion resistance, self-lubricating and so on. It also has the characteristics of softness, compression resilience, adsorption, ecological environment coordination, biocompatibility and radiation resistance that natural graphite does not have. Graphite has good chemical stability at room temperature and is not eroded by any strong acid, alkali and organic solvent.
